I came in contact with this picture from my younger brother Rev. Stephen D. Forester. He allowed me to scan and clean up the picture before using it on this and other web sites. It can also be seen on our MyFamily.com web site along with many others. Contact me for a password and ID name to get in. As far as I know Stephen still has the original picture at his home in Cisco, Texas. According to my older brother Jess Forester who is shown in the picture it was taken in 1942 in our Great Grandfathers home in Bridgeport, Texas. We don't know who take the picture, or if any more where taken at that time. All but Cecil Payne are now passed. They are in left to right order: Jesse P. Forester Jr., Jesse Price Forester Sr., Gilbert Leroy Forester Sr., Grant Forester, G.L. Forester Jr., Cecil Payne Forester. Located to your left is the Forester Family Coat of Arms as is recorded in the historical records of long ago. Our family has a rich and proud history of its origin in Scotland.

Jesse Price Forester Sr. (1918/1981)
Pictured is the man I called dad. However, to many others his name was J.P. or Pete Forester. Over the years dad and I had many different disagreements, most of them about subjects I had no real experience with. Of course that wasn't going to keep me from disagreeing with him. It was the only thing to do at my age. Now however, I would give anything I own in the world just to listen to what he had to say.
